Your visit. Your choice.

Cookies & similar storage

Cookies and browser storage are different technologies that can remember information on your device. This portfolio’s application does not set cookies or include visitor analytics, advertising pixels, or an embedded Cal.com scheduler.

Hosting and security behavior must also be checked on the deployed website before this draft becomes effective. A claim about the portfolio’s own code is not a claim that every external service you visit is free of cookies.

Accept, decline, or change your mind

The cookie and storage panel offers equally available Accept optional and Decline optional choices. Optional storage is off until you choose Accept. Closing the panel without choosing does not give consent, and you can keep browsing either way.

The only optional purpose in this version is remembering your motion preference between visits. There are no analytics or advertising tools to turn on. Accepting does not itself save a motion setting; using the motion control after acceptance does.

Open Cookie settings in any page’s footer to change your choice. Decline removes the saved motion setting and stops future optional reads and writes. The motion control still works for the current page. Consent to storage is separate from website terms, booking, and the information in the privacy notice.

Remembering your decision

After you choose, abhizit:privacy-choice:v1 stores accepted or declined, the consent version, and the time of your choice in first-party localStorage. Its only purpose is to remember and respect that choice; it contains no visitor identifier or contact details and is not sent to a server. This preference record is kept for either choice.

Your choice is valid for 180 days. LocalStorage does not expire on its own: an expired or invalid record and the saved motion setting are removed when the site next checks them. The panel then asks again. A change to optional purposes requires a new version and a fresh choice.

If your browser blocks saving or clearing data, the controls explain the limitation and optional storage stays off for that visit. Browser site-data settings can remove records the page cannot access. The panel may appear again on a later visit if your decision could not be saved.

The motion preference

After accepting optional storage, using Pause sky motion or Resume sky motion saves that selection in your browser. The nearby notice tells you whether the choice is saved or applies only to this visit. No stored motion preference is created just by opening the portfolio or accepting storage.

  • Storage key: abhizit:motion:v1.
  • Technology: first-party localStorage, scoped to this website’s origin.
  • Value: on or off. Purpose: remember your chosen motion setting between visits.
  • Duration: no independent expiry. It is removed when you clear it, decline storage, or the site next checks an expired 180-day consent choice. Older settings are not used without a valid acceptance.
  • Recipients: it stays in your browser and is not sent by the portfolio to a server. It contains no contact details or booking information.

Clear your saved preference

Clear the saved preference below. This removes only this portfolio’s motion setting, not your cookie/storage decision. The next full visit uses the default setting while respecting your device’s reduced-motion preference. Using the motion control saves a new setting only while optional storage is accepted. Choose Decline optional in Cookie settings to withdraw that permission too.

You can also clear site data in your browser. If storage is blocked, the portfolio remains usable and the motion control works for the current page without remembering the choice.

When you continue to Cal.com

The portfolio opens Cal.com only when you follow its external booking link. It does not load a Cal.com iframe or booking script while you browse or open the confirmation dialog.

After navigation, Cal.com controls its own cookies, preferences, and technical processing. Its policy distinguishes the scheduling product from its marketing website. Meeting services such as Google Meet and Cal Video have their own practices too.

The control on this page cannot clear cookies on another website, withdraw a booking, or delete meeting records. Use the relevant provider’s controls or the privacy-request process for those actions.

If the website changes

Adding analytics, an embedded scheduler, marketing tools, or other optional storage requires a fresh review and an updated notice. Where consent is required, optional technology must stay off until that consent has been obtained. This version does not add those features.

Questions & requests

The public privacy contact and legal operator are being confirmed. This is a draft notice; those details must be completed before it is published as an effective policy. Cal.com can also help route requests about information held through its service.
